The beaches are down the street, mountains are a 30 minute drive, desert an hour drive, Mexico 15 minutes to the south, and Hollywood a 90 minute drive to the north. We have a major airport located 15 minutes or less from all the shipyards. In conclusion, it is very difficult to find a port better suited to the Captain and crew to have an enjoyable life ashore during the work period. |
